I’ve always had a deep need to express myself through art. Even as a child, I felt the pull of creativity, although it didn’t always come easily. Despite my early struggles, the spark was there - and over the years, that spark has grown into a true passion. From improving my home spaces and decorating to upcycling, crafting, and pottery, I’ve explored countless ways to bring beauty into the world. For me, art isn’t just a hobby; it’s a way of life, and the world feels like my oyster with endless possibilities to explore.
Living with an autoimmune health condition means I have to take things one day at a time. Some days I can create freely, and other days I have to listen to my body and go with the flow - something that’s not always easy, especially with a toddler in tow! But art has always been my constant, and I find joy in making, even on the days when life feels unpredictable.
I’ve always felt a bit different, like many of us do at times. It took me a while to realize that this sense of uniqueness is something I can embrace, and it’s now what drives me to create. I want my art to be more than just decoration; I want it to bring happiness and energy into your space. When you look at one of my pieces, I want you to feel joyful, inspired, and reminded of the fun and unique parts of your own personality. Each creation is a snapshot of that joyful energy – a piece that you can proudly display and connect with.
Over the past few years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to exhibit my work in various art galleries and shows across the North West of England. One of my proudest moments was being featured as a wild card in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year. These experiences have been so rewarding, and I feel incredibly grateful for the chance to share my work with a wider audience.
Every work of art I create is a reflection of who I am and the love I have for the world around me. I hope that when you bring my art into your life, it brings a little extra sparkle to your day.
